JSW Steel reaches rated capacity in bar mill at Vijayanagar Works

Italian plantmaker Danieli has announced that the high-speed bar mill at Indian steelmaker JSW Steel Limited’s Vijayanagar Works in Karnataka, India, constructed by Danieli, achieved rated capacity and set a couple of records in its production program in January this year.
 
The mill constructed and commissioned in 18 months, achieved the fastest ever production ramp up to hit 89 percent capacity in six months after start up. It has an annual capacity of 1.2 million mt.
