JSW Steel, one of the largest Indian steelmakers, produced 1.16 million mt of
crude steel in August this year, registering a growth of 13 percent compared to the same month of the previous year.
According to the company's statement, in August
JSW Steel produced 880,000 mt of flat rolled products, up seven percent, while its long rolled product output amounted to 196,000 mt, increasing by 53 percent, both compared to August 2013.
