JSW Steel increases crude steel production by 2.5 percent year-on-year

According to company reports, JSW Steel achieved 16.69 million mt of crude steel production in the fiscal year 2019 ended on March 31, 2019, up 2.5 percent from the 16.27 achieved the prior fiscal year. Flat steel output reached 11.74 million mt from 11.44 million mt the previous year, up 2.6 percent, while long steel output increased from 3.87 million mt to 3.56 million mt, up 8.7 percent. The company’s crude steel production has increased multiples from the approximately 6 million mt it produced in the fiscal year 2010.
