Jinxi Steel remains China’s No. 1 exporter of H-section steel

In the first half of 2010, Hebei Province-based Chinese steel producer Jinxi Iron and Steel Inc. exported 253,800 mt of H-section steel with the total value of $143 million, indicating year-on-year increases of 329 percent and 353 percent respectively. Thus, Jinxi Steel remains China's No.1 exporter of H-section steel, with its export volume of this product accounting for 43 percent of China's total H-section steel exports in the six months ending June 30, 2010.

Jinxi Steel is the largest section steel producer in China, with an annual production capacity of 10 million mt, including 3 million mt of H-section steel. The steel producer has been ranked among China's Top 500 companies since 2003.
