The reconstructed 550 x 250 mm H-beam line of Hebei Province-based Chinese steelmaker Jinxi Group (Jinxi) has commenced production operations, as announced by China Metallurgical Group Corporation (MCC) on July 30. Work on the reconstruction project was carried out by Anhui Province-based MCC subsidiary Huatian Engineering & Technology Co. (Huatian Engineering).
The reconstruction project has increased the annual capacity of the production line from 1.4 million mt to 1.8 million mt.
