Shandong Province-based Jinan Iron and Steel Group Corporation (Jinan Steel) has succeeded in exporting 120 metric tons of EN standard P265GH pressure vessel plates to Germany. This is the first time that Jinan Steel has exported EN standard pressure vessel plates to Europe.
According to the standard in question, Jinan Steel's pressure vessel plate needed not only to have good tensile strength and impact resistance properties at low temperature, but also to have good tensile strength at the higher temperature of 3000C. Meanwhile, Jinan Steel's product underwent third party inspection and was found to meet all requirements.
