Jianlong shuts down its 70 mt converter No. 2

Hebei-based Chinese steelmaker Tangshan Jianlong Special Steel Co., Ltd has shut down its No. 2 converter of 70 mt on November 15, which cut steelmaking capacity of 830,000 mt, as announced by Chengde Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology in Hebei Province. Accordingly, Chengde city has completed its steel capacity cut target in 2018.
