Jianlong Industrial to build 1,680 m2 blast furnace

Shanxi Province-based Chinese steelmaker Jianlong Industrial Co., Ltd, a subsidiary of Beijing-based Chinese company Jianlong Group, will start to construct a 1,680 m2 iron-making blast furnace in August this year, as announced by Shanxi Economic and Information Commission. The blast furnace, which will have an annual output capacity of 1.445 million mt, will begin production operations in December 2019. According to China's capacity replacement policy, Jianlong Industrial Co. will eliminate two 630 m2 iron-making blast furnaces, with a combined annual capacity of 1.46 million mt before operation of the new blast furnace begins.
