Jiangyin UnionSteel releases Jan 2007 prices

SteelOrbis Shanghai On December 25, Jiangsu Province-based Jiangyin UnionSteel released its January 2007 ex-factory prices for HDG, Al-Zn coated coil and color coated coil. The mill's new ex-factory price of HDG has remained unchanged compared with December 2006. The new price of 0.5 mm thick HDG is RMB 7,100/mt (908$/mt), while that of 1.0 mm thick HDG is RMB 6,500/mt ($831/mt). Jiangyin UnionSteel's new ex-factory price for Al-Zn coated coil has also remained unchanged. The new price of 0.5 mm thick Al-Zn coated coil is RMB 7,300/mt ($934/mt), while that of 1.0 mm thick Al-Zn coated coil is RMB 6,950/mt ($889/mt). Meanwhile, the new ex-factory price of 0.3-0.34 mm thick color coated coil has decreased RMB 200/mt ($26/mt), that of 0.35-0.39 mm thick color coated coil is down RMB 250/mt ($32/mt), while that of >0.4 mm thick color coated coil has increased RMB 50/mt ($6/mt). After the adjustment, 0.426 mm thick color coated coil is RMB 7,600/mt ($972/mt), while 0.476 mm thick color coated coil is RMB 7,450/mt ($953/mt). 17 percent VAT is included in all prices.
