Jiangyin UnionSteel raises prices for March

SteelOrbis Shanghai On February 27, Jiangsu Province-based Jiangyin UnionSteel released its March 2007 ex-factory prices for HDG, Al-Zn coated coil and color coated coil. The details are as follows: The ex-factory price of 0.3 mm-0.34 mm thick HDG increased RMB 50/mt ($6/mt). After adjustment, the new price of 0.5 mm thick HDG is RMB 7,100/mt ($917/mt), while that of 1.0 mm thick HDG is RMB 6,500/mt ($840/mt). The new ex-factory price of Al-Zn coated coil increased RMB 150/mt ($19). After adjustment, the new price of 0.5 mm thick Al-Zn coated coil is RMB 7,500/mt ($969/mt), while that of 1.0 mm thick Al-Zn coated coil is RMB 7,150/mt ($924/mt). The new ex-factory price of color coated coil increased RMB 150/mt ($19). After adjustment, 0.426 mm thick color coated coil is RMB 7,900/mt ($1,021/mt), while that of 0.476 mm thick color coated coil is RMB 7,700/mt ($995/mt). 17 percent VAT is included in all prices.
