Japanese steelmaker Yodogawa Steel Works has announced plans to invest JPY 18 billion (RMB 1.44 billion) in the construction of a facility for the production of precoated steel plates in Hefei, the capital city of China's Anhui Province.
Established in 1935, Osaka-headquartered Yodogawa Steel Works mainly produces steel plates and steel coils.
Pre-coated steel plates are used in the production of refrigerators, washing machines and other home appliances.
