According to the data released by the Japan Ship Exporters' Association (JSEA), Japanese new ship export orders in November this year rose by 65.5 percent on tonnage basis compared to the previous month, increasing to 27 ships, compared to 14 ships recorded in October, totaling 1,413,860 gross tons, including 11 bulk carriers, 11 general cargo ships, four tankers and one other.
In the first 11 months of this year, Japanese shipbuilders received new export orders for a total of 195 ships with an aggregate of 9.48 million gross tons, up 6.1 percent year on year.
On the other hand, in November this year Japan delivered 21 ships for export, totaling 1,246,270 gross tons, compared to 20 ships totaling 1,056,486 gross tons recorded in October.
Meanwhile, in the January-November period of the current year, Japan delivered 193 ships for export, totaling 10.27 million gross tons, falling by 4.5 percent year on year.
