Japanese auto output down 12.2 percent in November

According to the data provided by the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association (JAMA), in November this year Japanese automobile production (including passenger cars, trucks and buses) totaled 743,289 units, decreasing by 102,981 units or 12.2 percent compared to the same month of 2013, declining for the fifth consecutive month on year-on-year basis.
 
Domestic automobile sales in November of the current year in Japan stood at 416,139 vehicles, down nine percent as compared with the same month of 2013. In the meantime, the country's automobile exports in November amounted to 368,113 units, down by 47,884 units or 11.5 percent year on year.
