The US International Trade Commission (ITC) voted yesterday to conduct full five-year reviews (“sunset”) concerning the antidumping duty orders on stainless steel butt-weld pipe fittings imported from Italy, Malaysia, and the Philippines. The ITC will use the sunset reviews to determine whether the revocation of the orders would likely lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury to US domestic industries. Interested parties are requested to submit their comments on the ITC's decision. Generally, 95 days after the initiation of the review the ITC determines whether the responses indicate adequate interest in a full review. If the responses are adequate, the ITC will conduct a full review, which includes public hearings and questionnaires.
