Italy’s steel exports to non-EU countries down 14.7 percent in Jan-Apr

In the January-April period this year, Italy's steel imports from non-European Union (EU) countries totaled 3.787 million metric tons, up by 11.8 percent, while its steel exports to non-EU destinations amounted 1.161 million metric tons, down 14.7 percent, both year on year, as announced by the Italian steel producers association Federacciai.

The details are presented in the following table, with units of measurement in thousand metric tons:
