Italy’s manufacturing industry confidence index up 1.1 percent in August

According to ISTAT, Italy's national statistics office, in August the seasonally adjusted confidence index in Italian manufacturing rose to 99.9 from 98.8 in July, increasing by 1.1 percent.

In July, the seasonally adjusted confidence index in construction rose to 75.8 from 74.4 in June, up 1.88 percent.
