Italy’s GDP down 0.5 percent in Q4 2011

Italy's gross domestic product (GDP) in Q4 2011 decreased by 0.7 percent compared to Q3 and by 0.5 percent compared to Q4 2010, according to the provisional seasonally and calendar adjusted figures provided by the Italian Institute for Statistics (Istat).

In 2011, Italy's calendar adusted GDP grew by 0.4 percent  year on year.
