Italy-based plantmaker Danieli has announced that it will upgrade the US steelmaker Nucor Steel Gallatin’s hot strip plant in Ghent to help the steel company extend its grade range and production capacity.
The new plant will enable Nucor Steel to expand production of AHSS grades, API line pipe steel grades and other value-added grades through improved thermomechanical rolling capabilities.
