ISG to purchase HBI facility in Trinidad & Tobago

According to recent news in the market, International Steel Group (ISG) has recently signed an agreement to purchase Cliffs and Associates Limited's (CAL) hot briquetted iron (HBI) plant in Trinidad & Tobago. The deal, the terms of which are not disclosed yet, is expected to be finalized by the end of June. The HBI facility has an annual production capacity of 500'000 tons.
