Iron ore inventory declines at China’s main sea ports

According to the Xinhua-China Iron Ore Price Index released on March 20 by China's state-run Xinhua News Agency, iron ore inventories at China's main sea ports declined to 97.79 million mt in the week ending March 19, down 790.000 mt from one week earlier. Meanwhile, the price index for 63.5 percent iron ore imports rose two points to 149 points, while the price index for 58 percent iron ore imports also rose two points to 126, both on week-on-week basis.
