Iranian authorities inaugurate Mobarekeh’s new development project

The new development project of Iranian steelmaker Mobarakeh Steel Company for an additional annual crude steel capacity of 1.2 million mt was formally inaugurated on Monday, May 4 by Iranian vice president Parviz Davoodi and minister of industries and mines Ali-Akbar Mehrabian.

With the new development project which has cost a total of €100 million plus Rials 2,000 billion, Mobarakeh Steel's annual capacity will rise from 4.2 million mt to 5.4 million mt. The under-roof development project consisted of the upgrading of Mobarakeh's meltshop, including the installation of additional equipment.
