In January-February 2010, the pipe producing subsidiaries of Ukrainian Interpipe Corporation (Interpipe) increased their steel pipe output by 2.1 times to 112,700 mt.
Specifically, during the first two months of 2010, Interpipe NTRP registered a 46.3 percent increase in its pipe production to 48,700 mt, Interpipe NMPP saw its pipe output increase by 2.5 times to 26,800 mt, while Interpipe Niko Tube's pipe output rose by 4.08 times to 37,200 mt, all compared to January-February 2009.
As SteelOrbis previously reported, in January-February 2010 Ukraine's production of steel pipes went down by two percent year on year to 209,000 mt.
