Indonesia's iron and steel import value down 6.2% in Nov from Oct

According to the data announced by Statistics Indonesia (BPS), in November 2014 the value of Indonesia's iron and steel imports decreased by 6.2 percent compared to the previous month, amounting to $637.8 million, while the country's import value for articles of iron and steel increased by 4.7 percent month on month to $351.8 million.
 
In the January-November period of 2014, Indonesia's iron and steel import value amounted to $7.5 billion, falling 15.6 percent compared to the same period of the previous year, while the country's import value for articles of iron and steel amounted to $3.9 billion, down 10.8 percent year on year.
