Indian government owned and operated steelmaker Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL) is seeking an international supplier for 50,000 mt of pulverized coal injection (PCI) grade coal for delivery by February-March 2018, sources have said.

The last date for submission of offers has been set for December 29, 2017. Producers of PCI coal as well as commercial suppliers with letters of authority from producers will be eligible for the supply contract, the sources said.

However, in case of PCI coal originating from China, all offers will have to be submitted through four Chinese trading firms authorized by the Chinese government for export of PCI coal, the sources added.
