India’s coking coal import port traffic up 16 percent in April-June

Coking coal import freight traffic handled by all major Indian ports during the April-June period of the current year was recorded at 15.123 million mt, up 16 percent over the corresponding period of the previous year, according to data sourced from the Indian Ports Association (IPA).

According to the IPA, iron ore freight traffic (including pellets) handled by all the major Indian ports in the April-June period this year totaled 12.188 million mt, 15.33 percent higher year on year.
