Indian trading firm MMTC seeks export bids for low silica chrome concentrates

Indian government run trading firm MMTC Limited is seeking to export 11,000 mt of low silica chrome concentrate through competitive bidding, company sources said on Monday, January 21.

The sources said that the low silica chrome concentrate export shipment by MMTC Limited is on behalf of Tata Steel.

International buyers for the consignment are expected to submit their price bids by February 1, and shipment will be executed by the trading firm from the eastern Indian port of Paradip in Odisha, the sources added.

Providing details of the consignment, the company sources said that the lot will be consist of 54-56 percent Cr2O3 content and a maximum of 12 percent alumina content.
