Indian coking coal import traffic up 14.25 percent in FY 2018-19

Indian coking coal import traffic handled by all major ports in the fiscal year 2018-19 totaled 57.51 million mt, up 14.25 percent year on year, according to data from the Indian Ports Association (IPA).

The IPA data showed that total iron ore freight handled by all major ports during the fiscal year ended March 31, 2019 amounted to 40.68 million mt, down 10 percent from the previous fiscal year.
