Hunan Valin Steel’s finished steel output up 24.6 percent in 2019

Hunan Province-based Chinese steelmaker Hunan Valin Iron & Steel Co. (Hunan Valin Steel) has announced respective pig iron, crude steel and finished steel outputs of 1.46 million mt, 1.81 million mt and 1.72 million mt for December last year, remaining stable, increasing by 2.3 percent and up 6.2 percent compared to December 2018.

In the full year of 2019, its pig iron, crude steel and finished steel output amounted to 19.90 million mt, 24.31 million mt and 22.88 million mt, respectively, up 22 percent, 23.3 percent and 24.6 percent year on year.
