Hunan Valin Group’s crude steel output up 18.2 percent in H1

Hunan Province-based Chinese steelmaker Hunan Valin Iron & Steel Group has announced that it produced 9.22 million mt of pig iron, 11.01 million mt of crude steel and 10.42 million mt of finished steel in January-June period of this year, up 9.9 percent, 18.2 percent and 16.8 percent year on year. Meanwhile, its sales revenues amounted to RMB 64.5 billion ($9.66 billion) in the given period, up 11.0 percent year on year.
