High-emission industrial restricted area increases to 80 cities from 28 cities

According to the three-year plan of action for the defense of the Blue Sky issued by China’s State Council, China has strengthened its environmental protection measures, involving 80 cities in the troop of production cut instead of previous 28 cities in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, which indicates the steel industry will face stricter environmental protection requirement.
