Hengyang Valin Steel’s steel pipe exports up 3% in Jan-Aug

Hengyang Valin Steel Tube Co. Ltd, a subsidiary of Hunan Province-based Chinese steelmaker Valin Group, has announced that in the January-August period this year its total steel pipe exports amounted to 360,000 mt, up three percent year on year. In the given period, the company’s steel pipe export value was RMB 2.833 billion ($447.6 million), increasing by RMB 244 million ($38.5 million) compared to the same period of the previous year.

 

In the first eight months of the current year, oil and gas steel pipe exports, accounting for 93 percent of the company’s total steel pipe export, reached 330,000 mt and indicated an increase of 50,000 mt on year-on-year basis.
