Hebei to eliminate 40 million mt of iron and steel capacity in 2019-21

The Overcapacity Reduction Office of China’s Hebei Province has announced that it eliminated 14.01 million mt of outdated coal capacity in the January-November period of this year.

As for the 2019-21 period, Hebei Province will eliminate 40.0 million mt of iron and steel capacity, 30.0 million mt of coal capacity and 10.0 million mt of coke capacity.
