Hebei Province-based Chinese steelmaker Hebei Iron and Steel Group (Hebei Steel) has announced that in the first half of the current year it received orders for a total of 15,000 mt of medium plate for three separate bridge construction projects.
The projects in question are the Longyou bridge project, the Longxing bridge project and the No. 12 Longhu Inner Loop bridge project in Zhengzhou new district, for which construction is being carried out respectively by China Railway First Group Co., China Railway No. 5 Engineering Group Co. and China Railway 21st Bureau Group Co.
To date, more than 6,000 mt of medium plate has been delivered for the Longxing bridge project, while more than 2,000 mt has been delivered for the Longyou bridge project.
