Hebei Steel Group Mining produces 5.45 million mt of iron ore concentrate in Jan-Sept

Hebei Province-based Chinese miner Hebei Iron & Steel Group Mining Co., Ltd, a subsidiary of major Chinese steel producer Hebei Iron and Steel Group, has announced that in the January-September period of this year it produced 5.45 million mt of iron ore concentrate. The company had produced 3.60 million mt of iron ore concentrate in the first half of the current year, while it produced 7.07 million mt in 2011.
 
Meanwhile, in the January-September period Hebei Iron & Steel Group Mining Co. achieved a gross profit of RMB 950 million ($151 million). The company’s raw iron ore output in this period totaled 90.32 million mt.
