Hebei Steel Group inks sales contracts for 10.42 million mt of finished steel

Hebei Province-based Chinese steel producer Hebei Iron and Steel Group (HBIS) has announced that it has signed contracts for sales of 10.42 million mt of finished steel. The group’s deputy general manager, Zhang Hai, signed the agreements in question on March 8 in Beijing with China Railway Construction, Sinosteel, China Minmetals Co. and 41 other customers.
 
Meanwhile, Xuanhua Iron and Steel, a subsidiary of Hebei Iron and Steel Group, produced 15,800 mt of ER70S-6 welding wire in February this year, up 16 percent year on year, as announced by the group.
