In 2019, heavy truck sales in China totaled 1.17 million units, increasing by two percent year on year, reaching the highest-ever annual heavy truck sales volume in China.

In December last year, heavy truck sales in China totaled around 90,000 units, down 4.26 percent month on month and increasing by nine percent year on year, continuing the year-on-year increase seen since July of the year, according to the data issued by cvworld.cn, a Chinese auto industry information service provider.

Market analysts consider that the increasing demand for road transport, the restrictions on overweight vehicles and the new emissions standards will continue to exert a positive impact on heavy truck sales in 2020.
