Heavy truck sales in China down two percent in January-July

In July this year, heavy truck sales in China amounted to 76,000 units, down 27.0 percent month on month, while up 2.0 percent year on year, according to the data issued by cvworld.cn, a Chinese auto industry information service provider. In the January-July period of the year, heavy truck sales totaled 732,300 units, decreasing by 2.0 percent year on year.

Market analysts think that heavy truck sales in China will likely move on a stable trend in August compared to July, while heavy truck sales in the second half of the year are foreseen to indicate a year-on-year decline of 5.0-10.0 percent.
