Hansteel supplies plate to largest coal chemical project in Henan

Hebei Province-based Chinese steel producer Handan Iron and Steel Co. (Hansteel), a subsidiary of Hebei Iron and Steel Group, has announced that it recently inked a deal for supply of steel plate to Henan Province-based Chinese coal company Henan Coal and Chemical Industry Group Co. According to the deal, Hansteel will directly supply a total of 1,600 mt of Q235C steel plate to the coal-to-ethylene glycol project of Henan Coal and Chemical Industry. As of February 8, the first batch of 1,000 mt had been delivered.

Following the deal in question, Henan Coal and Chemical Industry plans to conclude a further agreement with Hansteel for the supply of an additional 2,000 mt of steel plate.
