Handan Steel’s Hanbao mill sees increased slab output in Jan-Feb

Hebei Province-based Handan Iron and Steel Group Co., a subsidiary of Chinese steelmaking giant Hebei Iron and Steel Group (HBIS), produced 51,085 mt of slab used for rolling automotive plate at its Hanbao steel mill in the January-February period of the current year, as announced by Hebei Steel Group on March 6. This volume indicates an increase of 67 percent compared to the same period of last year.
