On February 4, China's Hebei Province-based steelmaker Handan Steel announced that on February 1 it succeeded in producing 8 mm x 1,500 mm 700 MPa high-strength hot rolled coil, with yield strength, tensile strength and elongation rate meeting required standards, thereby filling a gap in the production of high-strength HRC in Hebei Province.
This latest breakthrough for the company follows its development of X70 and X80 high-grade products. The high-strength HRC in question can be widely used in the construction of lightweight vehicles and mechanical equipment.
