Handan Steel issues April ex-factory prices for flats
SteelOrbis Shanghai On March 28, 2007, Hebei Province-based Handan Steel released its April ex-factory prices for HR, CR and coated products. All ex-factory prices remain unchanged compared with March levels. According to the producer's new price list, 2.75 mm thick HR costs RMB 4,370/mt ($565/mt), while 5.5 mm thick HR is at RMB 4,180/mt ($541/mt). Meanwhile, SPCC 1.0 mm costs RMB 5,000/mt ($647/mt), while SPCC 1.0 mm full hard is at RMB 4,600/mt ($595/mt). The above prices include taxes and are effective as of March 28, 2007.
