On June 23, Hebei Province-based Handan Steel released its July ex-factory prices for flat rolled products. The details are as follows:
1. HRC
Prices have decreased RMB 380/mt ($50/mt). Following the adjustment, the new price of Q235 2.75 mm thick HRC is RMB 3,990/mt ($524/mt), while that of Q235 of 5.5 mm thickness is RMB 3,800/mt ($499/mt).
2. CRC
Prices are down RMB 300-350/mt ($39-46/mt). As a result, the new price of SPCC 1.0 mm thick CRC is RMB 4,700/mt ($618/mt).
The above prices include 17 percent VAT and are effective as of June 23, 2007.
