In November last year, new passenger car registrations in the German market totaled 302,636 units, increasing by nine percent year on year, according to the data released by the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA). Meanwhile, in the January-November period of last year, Germany's new passenger car registrations increased by three percent year on year, totaling 3,616,200 units.
According to the VDA, in November 579,600 passenger cars rolled off production lines in Germany, which represents a year-on-year fall of eight percent. German passenger car output in the January-November period of last year amounted to 5,283,800 units, decreasing by two percent compared to the same period of 2016.
In November, a total of 437,900 passenger cars were exported from Germany, increasing by six percent compared to November 2016. In the first 11 months of 2017, German passenger car exports amounted to 4,065,100 units, falling one percent year on year.
