Germany’s industrial output remains stable in July from June

In July this year, seasonally-adjusted industrial production remained stable in Germany compared to the previous month, while the corrected figure for June showed a decrease of 1.1 percent compared to May, according to the provisional data of the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis).

As compared to June, in July this year production excluding energy and construction increased by 0.3 percent, while the production of capital goods fell by 0.3 percent and output of consumer goods narrowed 0.3 percent. Meanwhile, the production of intermediate goods increased by 1.4 percent, while energy production was down by 4.7 percent and construction output saw a rise of 0.5 percent, all month on month.
