German iron ore import prices down 29.6 percent in February

According to a report released by the German Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), in February this year the import price of iron ore in Germany decreased by 29.6 percent year on year and was up 1.6 percent month on month. 
 
In February, the average import price of iron and steel and ferroalloys in Germany decreased by 14.5 percent year on year and was down 1.3 percent as compared to January.
 
Meanwhile, in February this year the import price of nickel decreased by 36.8 percent compared to the same month of last year and was down by 3.1 percent month on month.
