In the first three months of the current year, Georgia's total external trade turnover with Turkey, which is the top trading partner of the country, amounted to $330.7 million, including exports worth $54.79 million, up 9.6 percent, and imports worth $275.96 million, decreasing 5.5 percent, both on year-on-year basis, according to the data provided by the National Statistics Office of Georgia (Geostat).
In the first three months, semi-finished products of iron or non-alloy steel ranked third among Georgia's most exported products to Turkey, amounting to 17,443 metric tons, up 186.2 percent year on year. Meanwhile, the value of these exports totaled $6.32 million, up 359.01 percent year on year.
