Georgia’s semi-finished export volume to Turkey up 0.55% in Jan-Sept

In the first nine months of the current year, Georgia's total external trade turnover with Turkey, which is the top trading partner of the country, amounted to $1.1 billion, including exports worth $145.8 million, down 15.7 percent, and imports worth $962.9 million, decreasing 23.3 percent, both on year-on-year basis, according to the data provided by the National Statistics Office of Georgia (Geostat).
 
In the first nine months, semi-finished products of iron or non-alloy steel ranked second among Georgia's most exported products to Turkey, amounting to 52,414 metric tons, up 0.55 percent year on year. Meanwhile, the value of these exports totaled $19.02 million, down 24.4 percent year on year.
