Georgia’s semi-finished export volume to Turkey down 3.8% in January

In January, Georgia's total external trade turnover with Turkey, which is the top trading partner of the country, amounted to $112.04 million, including imports worth $90 million, up by 6.4 percent, and exports worth $21.3 million, decreasing by 24 percent, both on year-on-year basis, according to the data provided by the National Statistics Office of Georgia (Geostat).

In the same month, semi-finished products of iron or non-alloy steel ranked second among Georgia's most exported products to Turkey, amounting to 6,584 metric tons, falling by 3.8 percent year on year. Meanwhile, the value of these exports totaled $2.3 million, down 30 percent year on year.
