Gasmig to hold tender to buy steel tubes

Brazilian natural gas supplier Gasmig is reportedly planning to hold an international tender to purchase 40 km of carbon steel 18” tubes in order to expand its network. Tubes will be used in a pipeline project that will supply gas to the metallurgy and mining region in Minas Gerais state of Brazil. The company is expected to announce the bidding terms soon.
