The new privately-owned Iranian steel mill, Gambron Steel Co., is scheduled to commence production at its I-beam, U-beam and angles workshops during the current Iranian year 1386 (21.03.2007-20.03.2008), the plant's managing director Mr. Hasan Mosayeb Zadeh has announced.
Construction of the workshops at the new mill, which is located in the country's main southern port of Bandar Abbas, is currently 50 percent completed.
The Gambron Steel Co. MD also added that the plant's crude steel workshop, with a production capacity of about two million metric tons a year, will be inaugurated in the next Iranian year 1387 (21.03.2008-20.03.2009).
